Privacy policy
We don’t collect much, and we don’t sell any of it.
What this site collects
This website is a static set of pages. It has no accounts, no forms, and no comment system. We don’t run ads, and we don’t use tracking pixels from Meta, Google, or anyone else.
We count visits with HarborByte Analytics. When a page loads, that script records the page, the time, the browser, the address of the page that linked here, and the IP address on the request. It also notes which link you follow when you leave. A cookie on this site lets it tell a return visit from a new one. We use the reports to see which pages get read. We don’t sell that data or share it with advertisers.
The only way to send us a message through the site is to email hello@forgepolitical.com. If you do, we keep that email and whatever you choose to put in it so we can reply and, if you become a client, do the work. We don’t add you to a mailing list or share your address with anyone.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare receives standard request data when your browser loads a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and retains it under its own policy, which you can read at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. We see this data only in aggregate (for example, how many visits the site got this week), not tied to individual people.
Fonts and third-party requests
Fonts are hosted on this domain. The analytics script is the request that leaves it, and that request goes to analytics.harborbyte.net.
Your choices
If you don’t want the visit counted, block analytics.harborbyte.net in your browser. If you want a visit record or an email you sent us deleted, ask at the address below and we will delete it unless we’re required to keep it for a client engagement or by law.
Children
This site is for campaign professionals and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we add a contact form or another tool that collects more than this, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before it goes live.
